Fellow Arrowmen,
As you know spring pow WOW is coming up and we have another opportunity to gain the spirit stick back. Well if we want it back then we need to be loud and we need to to very well with this event theme which is the young men will be old men and the old men will be young men. The women could do the same thing of couse that means y'all would be young women. Lets knock there socks off.

Scoutmasters!
Every Year the Amangi-Newo Chapter performs elections of your unit of those who are eligible for entry into the Order of the Arrow. This year, ALL elections must be completed by March 31.
The Tap Out, slated for the Campfire at the District Camporee, allows those elected to have two opportunities to go through ordeal. Spring inductions and fall fellowship.
The youth have voted that in order to have everyone on a level playing field, all units must follow the specific rules as they are written:
- Your unit will become ineligible if you have your elections at a different Chapter or Lodge.
- Your unit will become ineligible if you have your elections inside your own unit.
- You may have your Scouts tapped out ONLY with a letter of approval from the Occoneechee Lodge outside of Occoneechee Council. YOU MUST REQUEST THAT LETTER THROUGH YOUR CHAPTER!
- Your unit may NOT do their own tap out ceremony.
- A list of ineligible units will be forwarded to the lodge, as well as the new folks elected before the tap out at the district Camporee.
To remind everyone: Elections and Ceremonies must be from a Lodge or Chapter Approved Group. You may make your requests in advance of the Chapter meeting by emailing the youth/advisor responsible.
Get your unit dates now before they fill up! Remember - the last day is March 31!
