New Officers Elected for 2009
The Amangi-Newo Chapter of the Order of the Arrow held elections last meeting and the results have been announced:
Jonathan B is now the Chapter Chief, Vice Chief of Program is now Timothy D., Vice Chief of Administration is Ryder B., and Vice Chief of Communications is Pasquale S. In addition, the Vice Chief of Finance has changed hands to Michael B. Please congratulate all of the new and returning officers!

The Chapter Chief has identified a list of positions that is available for a scout and scouters who have the drive to make a difference. These positions will be discussed at the next chapter meeting. If you are interested in a position and have a can-do attitude, please be at the next meeting.

Amangi Newo wants YOU to attend Conclave!
Conclave this year is right around the corner at Camp Tuscarora in Four Oaks. The Amangi-Newo chapter has dedicated to bring 61 members to this fun event. The best part about it is that WE DO NO WORK! WE HAVE FUN! Join us at the Chapter Meetings for more information!
2009 Cardinal Conclave Note from the Lodge Vice Chief of Finance
The 2009 Cardinal Conclave is just around the corner. I know! It seems like just last month we were smashing all the other lodges in the Quest events, but it's time to get ready for the next one. This year we are going to take home the spirit award, so for this next Cardinal Conclave the theme selected is Super heroes. We need every arrow men to take advantage of the halloween sales and buy materials and costumes so we can take home the spirit award that we deserve!
The section wants us to bring 300 to 350 arrow men to conclave so we need
to spread the word and get those numbers! We can do it!

Troop Representative Registration
If you are a member of a unit that does not have an OA Troop Representative, now is the time to contact your Scoutmaster and register for this Leadership Position.If you are an active, dues-paying member of Occoneechee Lodge, you are eligible to become your troop's OA Troop Representative.
